Potential Match Funders
The Scottish Forestry Trust will generally provide up to 30% of eligible project costs. We are aware that applicants may need to seek additional funds from other sources towards their project costs. Links to other sources of research funding for applicants to investigate are provided below.
Fund4Trees provides grants of up to £10,000 towards research in arboriculture, urban forestry and green infrastructure. They have two funding rounds a year which close at the beginning of June and November each year. More information on what they fund and how to apply can be found here.
Future Woodlands Scotland provides grants of up to £10,000 for research and innovation linked to the sustainable management, conservation and creation of native woodlands in Scotland.
