Having refreshed its funding priorities earlier in 2022, the Scottish Forestry Trust is to hold an online webinar for prospective applicants across the UK. Director Amanda Bryan will explain what the Trust funds in forestry research, education and training, the decision-making process and timescales. Dr Ian Willoughby (Forest Research) and Professor Alistair Jump (University of Stirling) will discuss their experiences of applying to and receiving support from the Trust. Attendees will also be able to hear from Eddie Balfour, Joint MD of James Jones who will introduce a new annual Graduate Research Bursary being offered in partnership with SFT. Following a series of short presentations there will be a Q&A session.

The webinar will take place via Zoom at 1130-1230 on Friday 11th November and is open to anyone interested in finding out more about the Trust and what it funds.
