SFT Annual Report 2009/10 Launched

The Scottish Forestry Trust has published its Annual Report for 2009/10 and it is available for download here. Despite a volatile year in the markets, the Trust were still able to maintain their funding to a number of research and education projects.  Chairman Robert Scott, expressed his hope that, despite continued uncertainty, the Trust would be able to resume support for new applications as soon as possible.

Scottish Forestry Trust is a registered charity (Scottish Charity No. SC008465). The Scottish Forestry Trust was established in 1983 by a gift of share capital, and our role is to provide funds by way of grants, to support research, education and training throughout the UK.  Since our establishment, we have provided nearly £2.7m to fund over 190 projects ranging from supporting post graduate industry applied research, social and environmental forestry, policy formulation and broader public education and awareness.
