Scottish Forestry Trust Launches Trustee Recruitment

The Scottish Forestry Trust is seeking up to 3 new Trustees

Help shape the future of The Scottish Forestry Trust and develop the forestry sector through supporting education, training and research. Following our successful recruitment of 4 new Trustees in 2021 the Scottish Forestry Trust is now seeking to appoint up to a further 3 new Trustees to take up position on 1 January 2023. We need individuals with a broad range of skills and experience including; Land and Estate Management, Genetics, Statistical Analysis, Community and Social Forestry, Forestry Education.

Experience of charity governance or being a non-executive director is desirable but not essential and training will be provided.

We would particularly welcome applications from those living and/or working in Wales and Northern Ireland as at present only residents of Scotland and England are represented on the Trust.

We would encourage applications from a wide range of talented people irrespective of race, age, gender, disability or sexual orientation. Applications from researchers who have previously received SFT support is actively supported.
