Applications
The Scottish Forestry Trust has for many years supported a wide range of research, education and training projects throughout the UK. In recent years, the pressure on requests for funding has been significant and we are currently supporting nearly 20 high-quality projects, many of which have multi-annual funding commitments extending over the next three years.
Trustees are keen to recommence funding research applications as soon as possible, and it was agreed at the April Trustees meeting to review the situation again at the next meeting in August 2010. Subject to a positive outcome from that review, we hope to accept applications for projects with expenditure planned for 2011/12 onwards. Consequently, the May application round for 2010 has been suspended.
